Frances Cheng has practised family law since her time as a trainee solicitor. She has had exposure to a broad range of private family matters including divorce, financial disputes, surrogacy, child contact, maintenance, and leave to remove children from the jurisdiction permanently. She has experience in dealing with complex and high net worth cases involving assets located outside the jurisdiction of Hong Kong. Frances is acutely aware of the practical and emotional issues her clients face and is passionate about ensuring her clients are fully supported throughout their legal journey.
Frances was admitted as a solicitor in Hong Kong in March 2017. She joined CRB in October 2017, citing the fact that the two principals of the firm – Winnie Chow and Jain Ruskin Brown - are always watching out for the best interests of their clients, are skillful in negotiations, and display both character and integrity in their day-to-day work.
Frances graduated from the Law School of the University of Bristol, England in 2012 and completed the Postgraduate Certificate in Laws at the University of Hong Kong in 2014.
