Lydia joined CRB in December 2017 as a Registered Foreign Lawyer, and deals with a range of family law issues including nuptial agreements, divorce, separation, financial arrangements and all issues relating to children. Lydia enjoys working with people and places a high value on the clarity of communication. She recently trained as a family mediator and aims to become an accredited mediator in the new year.
Lydia graduated from the University of Exeter in 2006 in politics and Italian, and continued her studies at the University of Law, Guildford, where she completed her Graduate Diploma in Law in 2007, and Legal Practice Course in 2008. Lydia qualified as a solicitor in England and Wales in 2011. Prior to Hong Kong, Lydia worked at a leading London law firm advising on ultra and high net worth, complex cross-border and domestic issues. She represented clients on a number of issues including claims under The Inheritance (Provision for Family and Dependants) Act 1975, and in disputes involving devastavit, breach of trust, domicile and contrasting succession laws.
Lydia is a member of the Hong Kong Family Law Association. She is fluent in English and Italian.
