Aoife Griffin, Senior Associate
Having been in legal practice for over 10 years, in New Zealand then in Hong Kong, Aoife has extensive experience advising on all aspects of family law, including divorce and separation, child custody, wardship, domestic violence injunctions and financial applications. Aoife brings with her previous experience in the areas of human rights, immigration and criminal law, which combined with her family law experience, set her aside from other family law practitioners .
Elise Cheung, Associate
Elise was admitted as a Solicitor in Hong Kong in 2016 and joined CRB as an Associate in August 2023. She offers comprehensive legal services in multiple areas of matrimonial law, including divorce and separation, child custody and care arrangements, as well as financial disputes. Prior to joining CRB, Elise gained valuable experience working for various full-service Hong Kong law firms, where she practiced in different areas to include matrimonial, civil litigation, and criminal litigation. With her extensive background in family law and civil litigation, she is well-equipped to assist her clients in resolving contentious matters.
Justin Ng, Assistant Solicitor
Justin joined CRB in August 2022, upon completion of his training at another firm in July 2022.
Prior to his training, Justin had 4 years’ experience in different firms as a legal clerk before becoming a solicitor; this equips him with a better understanding of the Court’s systems and the litigation procedures in Hong Kong.
Venessa Lau, Trainee Solicitor
Venessa joined CRB in September 2023.
Prior to this, Venessa obtained her Bachelor of Laws Degree at the Chinese University of Hong Kong in 2022 and a Postgraduate Certificate in Laws at the Chinese University of Hong Kong in 2023. During her time there, she took up the active role as Vice President of the Undergraduate Law Society of the Chinese University of Hong Kong, while also acting as a student representative for the student body. This fostered her dedication to aid families through challenging situations with a holistic approach.
Venessa is fluent in English, Cantonese and Mandarin. She is also conversational in Korean.
