“CRB sponsorship of conference on protection of children and advancement of child rights”

In our continued support of children’s rights and giving due consideration to the voice of a child CRB is proud to be a sponsor of a conference series hosted by the Hong Kong Committee on Children’s Rights (“the HKCCR”) on 5 and 11 July 2024.

The conference series will review Hong Kong’s progress in the protection of children and advancement of child rights.  It is intended to create a platform for child professionals, NGOs and professional groups to come together and discuss different topics under the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child, and to leverage their expertise to propose recommendations to the Government for the improvement of the rights and well-being of children in Hong Kong. The discussions are expected to form the basis of a report - Comprehensive Review on Hong Kong’s Progress in the Protection of Children and Advancement of Child Rights - to be compiled after the conference series, for further dissemination in Hong Kong.
